Cleveland Browns Unveil Jim Brown Statue [Video]
Legendary Cleveland Browns running back, Jim Brown was honored with a statue in his likeness placed outside FirstEnergy Stadium.

CLEVELAND, OH — Sunday was a special day at FirstEnergy Stadium for NFL hall of fame running back Jim Brown. The Cleveland Browns unveiled a bronze statue of legendary running back Jim Brown before the Browns' home opener against Baltimore.
Jimmy and Dee Haslam announced in February that they would be honoring Brown with a statue to be placed outside the southeast entrance to FirstEnergy Stadium. A video of the unveiling can be viewed below.
“Everyone admires the incredible impact that Jim Brown has made for Cleveland, the Browns and the NFL throughout his lifetime, and we have had the special opportunity to know and learn from his contributions to our team on a personal level, as well,” the Haslams said in a statement. “It is only fitting that one of the most iconic professional football players and members of Cleveland and the Browns is commemorated with this statue as he will always be such a permanent fixture in our city.”
