Cleveland Cavaliers Release 2016-2017 Regular Season Schedule

The Cavs look to defend their NBA Championship.

The Cavs' 2016-2017 regular season schedule is set and the NBA Champs will have a target on their backs. However, fans should feel a bit more confident about the upcoming season after LeBron James' announcement that he is re-signing with Cleveland in a 3-year, $100 million contract.

Dec. 2 at Chicago Bulls
The Cavs head to Chicago to play the Bulls and the Bulls will be looking for revenge after being swept by LeBron and friends in the NBA playoffs. Also, LeBron's friend and former Miami Heat teammate, Dwyane Wade will be playing against LeBron for the first time as a Bull.

Dec. 25 vs. Golden State Warriors
Merry Christmas rematch. This is truly a gift from the NBA as this is not just a rematch of the two teams that have been Finals contenders the last two seasons, we also get a preview of how the Cavs will match up against the Warriors with the addition of Kevin Durant.

April 12 vs. Toronto Raptors
The last game of the regular season could have postseason seeding implications. The Raptors were the only team that gave the Cavs trouble in the playoffs last season, taking the series to a nail-biting 7 games.
