Cleveland Mother's Day Weekend Weather: More Rain Storms On The Way

Cleveland residents can expect plenty of rain, but the clouds are set to part Sunday, weather officials said.

CLEVELAND, OH — Plenty of rain is expected to fall in Greater Cleveland over the Mother's Day weekend, but ease just in time for a Sunday celebration, the National Weather service said.

If you're heading out on Saturday, don't forget to pack an umbrella — the chance of precipitation is 80 percent, the weather agency said. Northeast wind is set to gust around 18 mph.

The rain is expected to ease as the day progresses — the chance of precipitation Saturday night is 20 percent, with a low around 47, weather officials said. Wind will also ease to between 7 and 15 mph.

Then the clouds are expected to part just in time for Mother's Day.

On Sunday, the Cleveland area forecast calls for a sunny sky, with a high around 62, and northeast wind gusting between 7 and 9 mph.

The clear sky will continue through Sunday evening, with a low of 48, the National Weather Service said.
