A snowy Monday morning was possible in Cleveland, as most places south of the lake shore could see up to 2 inches of snow.
CLEVELAND — A snowy Monday morning was possible in Cleveland, as most places south of the lake shore could see up to 2 inches of snow.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook Monday morning for northeastern Ohio, as well as north-central Ohio, northwestern Ohio and northwestern Pennsylvania.
Moderate snow was possible late Monday morning through Monday afternoon. Several inches of snow was possible in the higher terrain in northeastern Ohio, especially northwestern Pennsylvania, the weather service said.

"Snow accumulations will primarily be confined to grassy and elevated surfaces, but any bursts of moderate snow may result in accumulation on roadways," the weather service said.

In Cleveland, the weather service expected rain before 1 p.m. Monday followed by rain and snow. Rain was likely again before 10 p.m., followed by more rain and snow into Tuesday morning.
