- A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 1:00 p.m. today, Jan. 23, for Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties. Travelers should use caution due to snow, slick roads, and reduced visibility. The overall weather pattern for the rest of the month will be "colder and more active." (Cleveland 19 News)
- The United States Conference of Mayors’ (USCM) DollarWise Campaign awarded its 2023 Innovation Grants to eight mayors, including Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb. Innovation Grant Award Recipients each receive $10,000 to expand their city’s economic mobility efforts. Mayor Bibb said he will use the DollarWise grant to "offer records expungement services to residents burdened with past marijuana convictions" and he "aims to help participants access higher-wage employment opportunities" through the program. - The Cleveland Browns hired Jim Schwartz from the Tennessee Titans as defensive coordinator. Schwartz is replacing Joe Woods, who was recently fired. (Cleveland.com)

- On Jan. 25, Cleveland City Council President Blaine A. Griffin will speak about the priorities for Cleveland City Council and his vision for Cleveland in 2023 at The City Club of Cleveland's "Remarks from Cleveland City Council President Blaine A. Griffin." The forum in-person is sold out, but the livestream will be available beginning at 12:00 p.m. at www.cityclub.org. (The City Club of Cleveland)
