Experimental vaccine show promising results against deadliest breast cancer type (news5cleveland.com) — Researchers at Cleveland Clinic are reporting promising Phase 1 results for a preventive vaccine targeting aggressive triple-negative breast cancer, with most participants showing a strong immune response. A Cleveland-area survivor, Sherie Steinberger, joined the three-year trial and describes the opportunity as a “golden ticket.” Phase 2, focused on how well the vaccine works, is expected to begin next year.
