Dollar Bank In Galleria Robbed, Help ID The Robber [Photos]
The Dollar Bank on E. 9th Street in downtown Cleveland was robbed on Monday.
CLEVELAND — The Dollar Bank on E. 9th Street, in Galleria, was robbed on Monday afternoon. Now the FBI is asking for help finding the robber.
At 4 p.m. on Monday, a man walked into Dollar Bank. He appeared to be looking for something and when an employee approached him, he said he was seeking a deposit slip. The employee gave him a deposit slip, the FBI said.
The suspect then wrote something on the deposit slip and walked toward a teller. The slip said, "$20s and $50s=$2,000, no bait or trackers," the FBI said.

The teller handed over the cash and the suspect ran out of the bank. He was seen getting into a red car that then went north on E. 9th.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
Tips concerning the robbery can be provided to the Cleveland Division of Police, the Cleveland Division of the FBI or Crime Stoppers. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible, the FBI said.
