'Encanto' Sing-Along Event Coming To Blossom Music Center This Summer

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH —"Encanto," the 2021 Disney animated musical, is coming to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls this summer for a special sing-along event.

Disney Concerts and Live Nation announced on Tuesday details about "Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert Tour," which will feature the entire original film accompanied by a live band performing all of the hit songs.

The 32-stop tour comes to Northeast, Ohio at 7:30 p.m. on August 25. Ticket presales begin this Wednesday with tickets going on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.

"Encanto," which premiered in Nov. 2021, is set in Colombia and follows Mirabel Madrigal as she fights to protect the magical powers that belong to everyone in her family but her.

The film won Best Animated Feature at the 2022 Academy Awards and 2022 BAFTAs.

The show features eight original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who famously composed songs for the Broadway musical "Hamilton" and the animated film "Moana"

The "Encanto" soundtrack spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and the popular tune "We Don’t Talk About Bruno" spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
