Free Taco for a Stolen Base — Here's Who to Watch for Cleveland and Chicago

Taco Bell is offering free tacos for stolen bases in the World Series. Which players offer the best taco potential?

CLEVELAND, OH — Taco Bell is once again offering its “Steal a Base, Steal A Taco” promotion.

Here's how it works:

Participating Taco Bells will give away free Doritos Locos Tacos when the first base is stolen — if that first base is stolen in Game One or Game Two in Cleveland, the tacos will be given away on Nov. 2. between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The player who steals the base will be named the 2016 "Taco Hero." Last year, Kansas City's Lorenzo Cain was named Taco Hero.

If a base isn't stolen in Games One or Two, tacos will be given away on Nov. 10. For details on the promotion, click here.

So which team offers the best potential for free tacos?

Based on regular season numbers, the Indians have the most potential for feeding everyone a free taco, with an average of 0.81 stolen bases per game. The Cubs in comparison had a regular season average of 0.40 stolen bases per game.

The Indians' Rajai Davis leads the American League with 43 stolen bases, so keep an eye on him when he's on base. The Cubs' centerfielder, Dexter Fowler, led the Cubs with 13 stolen bases.
