Girlfriend Shoots Partner In Living Room: Cleveland Police

Police said a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times on Tuesday. He was found in a living room, where he was later declared dead.

CLEVELAND — A 30-year-old man was shot to death in a home on Cleveland's east side on Tuesday.

At 1:20 a.m., police were asked to investigate gunshots heard on Crestwood Avenue. When officers located the house where the shots were heard, they met a woman who said she had just shot her boyfriend, police said.

The 30-year-old man was inside the house, in the living room. He had been shot multiple times, police said.

Police gave the man first aid until EMS arrived and declared him dead in the living room.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit then arrived. The woman then handed a gun to officers, police said.

The shooting is still being investigated.
