Hazardous Weather Expected To Hit Northeast Ohio
The National Weather Service has issued an alert for the Cleveland area.
CLEVELAND, OH — Snow and frigid temperatures are expected to hit northeast Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, weather officials said.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Cleveland area.
"Accumulating snow is likely Saturday night into Sunday as much colder air settles over the region," the alert read.

"Moderate accumulations are possible for favored inland areas including Geauga and Ashtabula Counties in Ohio."
Rain and snow showers are expected Saturday in the Cleveland area, with a high around 36. Wind could gust up to 17 mph. The chance of precipitation Saturday is 80 percent, and up to an inch of snow is possible, weather officials said.

The chance of snow showers on Sunday is 50 percent, and wind could gust up to 28 mph.
Then the clouds are expected to part Monday, with a high around 33, according to the National Weather Service.
