How Much Snow Have You Gotten So Far? See Totals For Ohio Cities
The National Weather Service released its records on total snowfall received this winter. How much snow has your community gotten?
OHIO — Snow made a major return to the Buckeye State this winter, hammering parts of the state for days at a time. Significant snowstorms battered northern Ohio in late January and early February and left some communities reeling.
But how much snow have we actually gotten? The National Weather Service has the answers.
According to the agency, northern Ohio has toppled its winter averages (up to this point) for snow received. The Cleveland, Akron-Canton, and Toledo regions have all exceeded their average snowfall through this point, while Youngstown is nearly on par with its averages.

Additional snow could fall later this week as early spring temperatures give way to winter's chilly embrace on Thursday and Friday. It's not yet clear how much snow could hit northern Ohio during those days.
The cities that compose central and southern Ohio lag behind their annual snowfall averages. The National Weather Service compiled a list of every community's snowfall totals on Twitter and we're sharing the Ohio findings below.

The agency shared the amount of snow each community had received through Feb. 19 versus the average snowfall through Feb. 19. Those results are below.
Cleveland
- Total snowfall this winter: 46.7 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 45.8 inches
Akron-Canton
- Total snowfall this winter: 43 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 34.1 inches
Youngstown
- Total snowfall this winter: 48.3 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 50 inches
Toledo
- Total snowfall this winter: 28.1 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 27.7 inches
Mansfield
- Total snowfall this winter: 24.4 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 35 inches
Columbus
- Total snowfall this winter: 12.1 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 21.4 inches
Dayton
- Total snowfall this winter: 11.9 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 18.7 inches
Cincinnati
- Total snowfall this winter: 11 inches
- Average snowfall at this point: 17.7 inches
