ICYMI: Ohio State Marching Band Salutes the Cleveland Indians, Game Three Scheduled for Monday Night

The Best Damn Band in the Land recognized the Cleveland Indians at Saturday's game in the Horseshoe.

COLUMBUS, OH — On Saturday, the Cleveland Indians were enjoying a 2-0 lead in the ALDS after shutting out the Boston Red Sox on Friday 6-0. The Ohio State Marching took notice of the Indians in the playoffs and dedicated part of their playoff performance to the Tribe. The whole performance is superb, but if want to get right to the Indians tribute, fast forward to the 9:30 mark.

The Tribe was scheduled to play on Sunday but game three in Boston was rained out courtesy of Hurricane Matthew and is now rescheduled for Monday at 6 p.m.

letsgotribe.com explains how Sunday's rainout could benefit the Indians:

Now the entire bullpen will be rested by at least two full days, but more importantly, so will the Tribe’s starting pitchers. Assuming the Indians stick with their scheduled Game 3 starter, Josh Tomlin, for Monday, that would leave Trevor Bauer and Corey Kluber both available to close out the series on full rest. Prior to the delay, Bauer was expected to pitch on Monday in what would have been Game 4 on three day’s rest.

As letsgotribe.com also points out, the extra day of rest benefits both teams and Boston will be rocking tonight.

The Buckeyes beat Indiana 38-17 in what turned out to be a closer game than expected.
