Cavs: NBA Play-In Tournament Explained, Where To Watch
Cleveland will open the NBA's Play-In Tournament Tuesday against the Nets. The Cleveland Cavs are the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference. But a loss does not mean the Cavaliers are eliminated. In the past, that meant the Cavs would be the final team in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, but things are not as straightforward anymore. Here's everything you need to know about the playoffs. It's A Browns Hall Of Famer Thing

Joe Thomas is the closest thing the modern-day Cleveland Browns have to a legend. His stalwart offensive line play and stand-up character when everything around him seemed to be going to the dawgs endeared him to this blue-collar, never-say-die city.
It's hard to believe Thomas retired in March 2018 — but not so hard to believe he could become a first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer when voting ensues later this year for the 2023 class.

- "I saw my name and I went, 'Holy Smokes,' " Thomas said on the Orange and Brown Talk podcast. "I don't think it feels real."
- The "days grind by" for former NFL players who struggle in retirement, says Thomas, but not for him. Fatherhood, and his work with the Browns and NFL Network's Thursday Night Football, keep him engaged and busy. Time flies.
- His dream job, however, would be to follow in Doug Dieken's footsteps as TV color commentator for the Browns, reports Mary Kay Cabot for the Plain Dealer.
Are the Browns putting together the kind of team you want to root for this fall? Do you agree with the trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson — who might be suspended for all or some of the season this fall due to his behavior with almost two dozen massage therapists? What about the other roster moves made so far?
- While the Forest City may be a one-of-a-kind North Coast gem, other cities and towns bear the name Cleveland — 28 in fact. An Ohio TikToker who goes by the handle Sir Yacht is going "full Cleveland" and will visit 13 of them in a mega-road trip. (Cleveland Patch)
- For 90 years, Pierre’s Ice Cream has been made in Cleveland. About 80 employees work in the Cleveland location at East 65th Street and Euclid Avenue. The company announced Monday that Pierre's has been sold to another Ohio-based dairy manufacturer (cleveland.com)
- Pitbull is coming to town this summer. The rapper and producer known as "Mr. Worldwide" will bring his "Can't Stop Us Now Tour" to the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. (Cleveland Patch)
- High & Low Winery and Bistro, which opened in November, has temporarily closed its Mayfield Road location in Little Italy. Read up on plans for re-opening. (cleveland.com)
- "Airport parking" could be a curse of its own. Parking lots at Cleveland Hopkins airport and nearby have been full in recent weeks, but more parking is coming soon to the suddenly busy airport. (cleveland.com)
