Josh Gordon Catches an Arrest Warrant for Paternity Case
Josh Gordon of the Cleveland Browns failed to provide a court-ordered DNA sample.

CLEVELAND, OH — Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is in trouble again. This time it's for not responding to subpoenas in a paternity case. Christina Lockhart of Maple Heights filed a complaint against Gordon in juvenile court last July, stating that he is the father of her 1-year-old daughter.
The complaint filed by Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Kira Kittoe Krivosh says that Lockhart is seeking child support from Gordon and that she is currently receiving public welfare.
According to cleveland.com, multiple subpoenas had been sent to Gordon at multiple addresses, without any response. Gordon was also ordered to provide a DNA sample by Sept. 25, 2015 but failed to do so.

While an excuse for Gordon's failure to respond to the subpoenas has not been offered yet, it may not have been clear where Gordon has been living for the past year. Back in April, there were were reports that Gordon was rooming in Los Angeles with failed Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel. Shortly after that rumor surfaced, Manziel had been spotted heading to Mexico wearing Gordon's Cleveland Browns jersey.
Currently, Gordon is not allowed to speak to the media due to a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. However, cleveland.com reports that subpoenas were also issued to Gordon's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, as well as Adidas, the NFL, Stubhub and the Browns. Gordon's agent has yet to respond.

The Browns responded with the following statement in an email to cleveland.com:
"We are aware of the situation, Josh and his attorney are working with the Cuyahoga County Courts to resolve this matter. We have no further comment at this time."
