Labor Day weekend will be sunny and clear with no sign of rain in the forecast. Tonight's weather will be clear, with a low around 63. Northeast wind 8 to 15 mph.

All is not well, however, as a Beach Hazards Warning is in effect for Lake Erie until 7 p.m. today. Life-threatening wave heights are forecast at 3 to 6 feet. People visiting Lake Erie beaches should stay out of the water as strong rip currents near shorelines and structural currents near piers could sweep people away into deep water, advises the National Weather Service.

• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. At night, clear, with a low around 62. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southeast after midnight.
• Monday, Labor Day: Sunny, with a high near 83. At night, clear, with a low around 65.
