Lakewood Police Arrest Mission Boutique Vandal

Samantha Buehner​, 29 of Lakewood is accused of spray painting sexist language on the windows of the Mission Boutique in Lakewood.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Utilizing Madison Ave. surveillance cameras, Lakewood Police were able to identify and arrest Samantha Buehner, 29 of Lakewood on five warrants for Criminal Damaging on Monday. Buehner is believed to be behind the vandalism at the Mission Boutique that occurred last week.

Buehner was charged with spray painting derogatory language on the front windows of the Mission at 14625 Madison, twice, a wall at 14410 Madison, a city garbage can at Madison and St. Charles, and a wall at 15639 Madison. The spray painting occurred between October 16-17.

Lakewood detectives were able to utilize the city surveillance cameras on Madison to identify Buehner as a suspect. Buehner is being held in the Lakewood City Jail awaiting her court appearance.

“Graffiti is an affront to all the members of our community. The Lakewood Police Department takes these investigations seriously and our detectives worked very hard on identifying the person involved to stop her from doing more damage,” said Lakewood Police Chief Tim Malley.
