- Cleveland resident Zaveeyon Teasley, 20, has been charged with stealing 30 firearms from a licensed firearms dealer in Akron. According to court documents, Teasley allegedly drove a stolen vehicle into the store and stole the firearms along with two other co-conspirators. Law enforcement executed a search warrant on Teasley's Cleveland residence and found items linking him to the firearms theft in Akron. (Department of Justice)
- Hundreds of runners are expected to come out to 'Cupid's Undie Run' in Cleveland this afternoon. The race begins at 2 p.m., with runners gathering at the South Side on West 11th Street. Event proceeds will benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation. (WKBN.com)
- The latest U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention map showed that Cuyahoga and most northern Ohio counties are still in the yellow zone, indicating a moderate spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, most of the rest of the state turned green, indicating a low spread. A total of 75 counties in Ohio are now classified as green, the highest number since July 2022; Lorain County was the only Greater Cleveland county to be classified as green. (cleveland.com)
