  1. On Sep. 22, federal agents accused 32-year-old Lawrence Sturdivant, of Garfield Heights, of robbing ten Cleveland-area stores at gunpoint in three weeks. Nine of the robberies happened in Cleveland and one in Shaker Heights from Dec. 5 through Dec. 26. (Cleveland.com)
  2. The Cleveland Landmarks Commission approved revisions on plans for the Bridgeworks apartment-hotel project. The high-rise apartment-hotel building overlooks the Flats from the west end of the Veterans Memorial (Detroit-Superior) Bridge. The building will be 16 stories rising 186 feet with 140 apartments and 130 hotel rooms. (cleveland.com)

Yesterday morning, many Cleveland dads participated in the 17th annual Fathers Walk to show dads who are active in their kids' lives and education. “We need a lot of strong positive male role models in our lives... as you see out here there are a lot of dads out here,” a Cleveland father of three said.
