OH Weather: More Snowfall, Frigid Temps Possible This Week
Ohio's run of beautiful weather could end Tuesday night as winter reasserts its presence.

OHIO — Don't put away your snow shovel away just yet. Up to 3 inches of snow could accumulate Thursday night in northern Ohio, according to current forecasts.
After three days of unseasonably warm February temperatures, and the gradual removal of all lingering snow from the ground, Ohio could soon add additional flakes to the forecast. Tuesday's upper 50s high could plummet overnight until temperatures fall into the 20s.
The cold will persist through the end of the week, the National Weather Service predicted, and could lead to snowfall or a wintry mix falling on Thursday night and Friday.

"A system will track across the Ohio Valley Thursday night through Friday morning, bringing the potential for light to moderate snow accumulations. A period of mixed precipitation is also possible," the National Weather Service said in a hazardous weather outlook.
Thursday night could produce 1 to 3 inches of snow, but it's not yet clear how much additional snowfall could come on Friday, according to National Weather Service forecasts. We do know there is currently an 80-percent chance of snow on Friday.

"The weather this week will make travel difficult at times. We still have several locations impacting by flooding from the last storm, so more rain isn’t going to help. Another shot of snow and ice move in Thursday to make the Friday morning commute a mess, so plan ahead now," the Ohio Department of Transportation said on Facebook.
Here's a day-by-day forecast from the National Weather Service:
Tuesday — Widespread showers and a possible thunderstorm during the day. Temperatures in the upper 50s in the afternoon. Then conditions will change rapidly, with temperatures plummeting to 29 overnight. A wintry mix could fall between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Wednesday — There's a small chance of snow showers during the day, with temperatures topping out at 33 degrees. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a low of 21.
Thursday — Snow is possible during the day, but unlikely. If snowfall does appear, less than 1 inch of snow should accumulate. The chances for snow increase as evening approaches, and 1 to 3 inches of snow could fall overnight.
Friday — There is currently an 80-percent chance of snow, most of which should fall prior to 1 p.m. Expect temperatures to climb into the upper 20s before falling overnight. There is a 40-percent chance snow continues overnight.
