National Merit Scholarship: 60 Student Winners From Across Ohio
Ohio had 60 high school students included in the latest round of scholarships from the National Merit competition.
OHIO — The prestigious National Merit Scholarship competition announced its latest round of winners on Tuesday, including 60 high school students from Ohio.
More than 1.5 million students applied for the highly competitive scholarship and the program says that approximately 7,500 students will win scholarships in 2021.
The latest round of scholarship recipients received between $500 and $2,000 annually, for four years, through their chosen college or institution. Students were selected from a pool of National Merit Scholarship finalists.
