  1. The Ohio Senate is considering a new bill which would expand the diagnoses eligible for medical marijuana. The bill would create a 13-member medical cannabis oversight commission and a new state agency to oversee the medical cannabis industry. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
  2. Cuyahoga Valley National Park has been listed in second place out of the top 10 best national parks in the United States. The list was put together by the online travel publication Travel Lens, which scored national parks across the country based on criteria like entrance fees, number of visitors, and the distance to the closest city.   3. An Ohio campaign for abortion rights recently hired a firm known for successfully defeating anti-abortion measures in Kansas and Kentucky last year. Ohioans for Reproductive Freedom announced on Thursday that they hired Mission Control Inc. to help the campaign's mission. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
