New Ohio Poll: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are Tied at 43
Ohio could decide which candidate gets to go to the White House.

CLEVELAND, OH — The path to the White House travels through Ohio, and according to a new poll by Emerson College, that path is not going to be an easy one for either candidate.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are tied at 43 percent, while Libertarian Gary Johnson has 10 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein took 2 percent, according to the poll.
Ohio carries 18 electoral votes and is traditionally a reliable indicator of who will win the election, however both candidates have their own challenges to overcome in order to win over Ohio voters. Obama won Ohio in 2008 and 2012, and George W. Bush won Ohio in 2000 and 2004.

The Emerson College poll was conducted Aug. 25-27, surveying 800 likely general election voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percent, reports TPM. Both candidates have an unfavorability rating of more than 50 percent.
While the results of this latest survey are tied, most Ohio voters say they think Clinton will win. The race is currently within the margin of error for likely voters.
