No. 2 Buckeyes Travel to Wisconsin to Take On the No. 8 Badgers: Everything You Need To Know

The Buckeyes face the Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium this Saturday. Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

MADISON, WI — For the first time all season Saturday in Columbus, Ohio State looked mortal as the Buckeyes struggled against Indiana before pulling away for the 38-17 victory. Wisconsin is a considerably more formidable opponent, so Ohio State will need to improve its performance by a wide margin if the Buckeyes are to prevail in Madison, Wisconsin.

Against Indiana, quarterback J.T. Barrett had his worst passing outing of the season as he completed only 9 of 21 passes for 93 yards. He also threw a touchdown and an interception. His legs, on the other hand, were very productive as he led the team in carries with 26 and ran for 137 yards and a score. Running back Curtis Samuel also contributed as he rushed nine times for 82 yards and a touchdown. Samuel is averaging 8.2 yards per carry this year.

The Buckeyes’ offense, which has averaged a hearty 53 points per game, faces its most difficult challenge of the season in a Wisconsin squad that has allowed only 12.2 points per game and has played all of its opponents tough. In their last matchup against Michigan on Oct. 1, the Badgers went toe-to-toe with the Wolverines in Ann Arbor before falling 14-7. Wisconsin’s offense is hoping to show significant improvement over its performance against Michigan in which the Badgers managed only 159 total yards of offense. Quarterback Alex Hornibrook completed only 9 of 25 passes for 88 yards and threw three interceptions in the defeat.
