WATCH: The Northgate Apartment Complex Drug Store in Wooster, Ohio is CLOSED

Wooster police and the SWAT team executed a search warrant and took three drug dealers and a significant amount of heroin off the street.

WOOSTER, OH — Three suspected drug dealers were arrested in Wooster Thursday, reports Wayne County Captain Doug Hunter via The Daily Update video on The Wayne County Sheriff's Office Wooster, Ohio Facebook page

Hunter says that the department received a tip that drugs were being sold out of the Northgate Apartment Complex off Cleveland Road on the north end of Wooster. A warrant was secured, and assistance from the SWAT team was requested.

According to Hunter, individuals were suspected of selling large amounts of not just heroin, but heroin laced with fentanyl.

The SWAT team executed the raid and arrested three suspects and found significant amounts of heroin and cash in and around the apartment. The suspects were captured without incident, and no shots were fired.

Of the three arrested, two of the suspects are from Michigan and are still being held in the Wayne County jail.

Hunter also gives a special shout-out to the SWAT team for enduring Thursday's 90-degree heat and high humidity while wearing full SWAT gear.
