Ohio Spring 2022 Weather Forecast: When Warmer Temps Could Arrive
Could Ohio see a late-in-the-season winter storm or will spring arrive early?
OHIO — Piles of shoulder-high snow and frigid temperatures are now familiar sights for many Ohioans, but spring's warm embrace may not be far away, according to some long-range forecasts.
The Weather Channel is predicting a warmer-than-average February, March and April for most of the nation, including Ohio. The Buckeye State could specifically see higher-than-usual temperatures in March, the channel said.
Before you break out the spring fashion collection, you should know that not everyone agrees with the Weather Channel. Pennsylvania-based AccuWeather thinks winter could cause a few more chills and storms before giving way to warmer days.

The company predicted winter would begin to recede in March, but there could be a late-in-the-season snowfall or winter storm in early spring.
"There's going to be some type of setback as we head into either late March or April," AccuWeather forecaster Paul Pastelok said on the company's website.

AccuWeather's forecast also called for a possible freeze a week or two later than normal, which could wreak havoc on gardeners and farmers this spring.
