Ohio State Buckeyes at Maryland Terrapins Football: Everything You Need To Know

Buckeyes vs Terrapins kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

COLUMBUS, OH — After stumbling at Penn State three weeks ago and struggling to beat Northwestern the week after, No. 6 Ohio State seemed to right the ship Saturday when it destroyed No. 10 Nebraska 62-3.

The Buckeyes manhandled the Cornhuskers from start to finish, leading 14-3 after one quarter, 31-3 at halftime and 55-3 after three. Quarterback J.T. Barrett was phenomenal, throwing for 290 yards and four touchdowns while adding 39 yards on the ground. His primary target was Curtis Samuel, who caught eight receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Tailback Mike Weber sprained his shoulder in the victory after gaining 72 yards and scoring a touchdown, but is expected to play against Maryland.

As impressive as Ohio State was Saturday, the Terrapins were equally unimpressive, as Maryland was demolished by No. 2 Michigan 59-3 in Ann Arbor. The Terrapins fell behind 35-0 at halftime and 45-0 after three quarters, thanks in part to the fact they could not get their running game untracked. Maryland managed only 78 yards on the ground on 38 carries, a 2.1 yards per carry average.
