The president will discuss his infrastructure package and its impact on the Midwest during his visit.

CLEVELAND — President Joe Biden will visit Northeast Ohio on Thursday.
Biden will visit Cleveland and Lorain to discuss his $1 trillion infrastructure package, which was signed into law in November 2021. The legislation will send $60 billion to Ohio to fund local and state government projects, plus $10 billion to fund highway projects and $1 billion for the Great Lakes Restoration Project.
The president visited nearby Pittsburgh in January, coming to the city right after a major bridge collapse. A new report found that nearly 5 percent of all Ohio bridges were deemed "structurally deficient."
