President Joe Biden Visits Cleveland, Lorain On Thursday
Air Force 1 touched down in Cleveland at 11 a.m. The president will discuss the impact of his infrastructure bill on Ohio during his visit.

CLEVELAND — President Joe Biden is in Northeast Ohio on Thursday to discuss his $1 trillion infrastructure bill.
"We’re announcing a $1 billion investment through the law to accelerate the restoration and cleanup of the Great Lakes — securing clean water for millions of Americans," Biden said on Twitter prior to his arrival in Cleveland.
Air Force 1 arrived in Cleveland at 11 a.m. The president was greeted by Mayor Justin Bibb and Rep. Marcy Kaptur. Biden then traveled to Lorain to deliver his remarks.

The president visited nearby Pittsburgh in January, coming to the city right after a major bridge collapse. A new report found that nearly 5 percent of all Ohio bridges were deemed "structurally deficient."

A bridge is classified as structurally deficient if the deck, superstructure or substructure are in poor condition, or if the culvert below it is in poor condition, according to government definitions.
