Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:

  1. Cleveland's Public Square is set to undergo an upgrade in 2023. The project reached its $3.5 million fundraising goal with support from multiple organizations, including the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and more. The planned upgrades include a permanent curb extension and new reserved bus lanes. (Spectrum News 1)
  2. U.S. Marshals arrested a man wanted for murder in nearby East Cleveland on Wednesday morning. The police have been looking for Michael Sheppard, 43, for a murder that allegedly took place in September. (Cleveland 19 News)
  3. Ahead of an expected winter storm Friday, Cleveland and Hopkins airport officials detailed their plans on preparing city streets and keeping the airport cleared and safe for travel. City crews will be pre-treating streets late Thursday night. The city encouraged residents to avoid parking on the streets as much as possible. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
