RGIII Starts Season With Cleveland Browns in Classic Browns Fashion

Not only do the Browns lose the season opener again, they lose their starting quarterback.

CLEVELAND, OH — Stop me if you've heard this one before. The Browns lost their season opener in Philadelphia and they also lost new starting quarterback, Robert Griffin III to a shoulder injury. RG3 will likely be out until week 10 according to some reports.

In a release, the Browns say that medical tests performed on Sunday and Monday revealed that Griffin fractured the coracoid bone in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. No surgery will be required and the injury will be reevaluated in 3-4 weeks.

Griffin signed with the Browns as a free agent in March. He completed 12 of 26 passes for 190 yards and added 37 rushing yards against the Eagles.
