Shooting Near Shaker Square Home: 1 Dead
A 27-year-old woman was shot multiple times in a home on N. Moreland.
CLEVELAND — A 27-year-old woman was shot to death in a home on N. Moreland in Cleveland on Tuesday night.
At 11:30 p.m., callers reported hearing gunshots near the house. When officers arrived, they found the woman in the bedroom. She had been shot multiple times, so officers gave her first aid, according to police.
EMS arrived and tried to give her first aid but the woman was declared dead in the bedroom, police said.

Investigators believe the woman was shot by someone she knew, a 26-year-old man.

The man came to the N. Moreland home, with another woman, an argument ensued and the 26-year-old then shot the woman, police believe.
The 26-year-old was taken into custody after he was found near Larchmere Avenue.
