Shooting Outside Cleveland Bar: 1 Dead In Flats Parking Lot

CLEVELAND — Police are investigating a shooting outside of a W. 10th Street bar. The violence left one person dead, according to officers.

A man in his 30s was shot in a parking lot outside of a bar in the Flat at 3:20 p.m. When police and firefighters arrived, they gave the man first aid until EMS could move the man to MetroHealth Medical Center. Doctors later pronounced the man dead, police said.

Police said the incident does not appear related to the NBA All-Star Weekend. Investigation into the killing is ongoing.
