Single-Engine Plane Crashes In Ohio: 2 Dead
A plane flying from Illinois to Ohio crashed on late Tuesday, killing the pilot and co-pilot.
LOUDON TOWNSHIP, OH — A plane crashed in Seneca County on late Tuesday, killing two people.
The plane crash occurred at 10:47 p.m., according to WTOL. A resident in Fostoria heard a loud boom outside of her house and called 911. She told police it sounded like a plane had crashed.
Officers searched the woods east of the caller's property, in Loudon Township, and found the scattered plane parts and two bodies. The pilot was identified as Shane Alan Halbrook, 59, from Indiana, and the co-pilot was Michael Wright, 51, from Illinois.

The single-engine plane left Illinois and was headed to Findlay, Ohio.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash.
