'Sloppy' Winter Storm Will Dump Snow, Ice On Roads: OH Weather

Parts of northern and central Ohio will get several inches of snow and a layer of ice overnight.

OHIO — A "sloppy" winter storm will dump snow and ice on northern Ohio and parts of central Ohio on Thursday night and Friday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory much of the region, warning that up to 4 inches of snow and 0.2 inches of ice could accumulate overnight. Most of the snowfall and freezing rain will fall between Thursday night and sunrise on Friday.

"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute," the National Weather Service said. The storm could be "sloppy" and could create dangerously slick roads, the agency added on Twitter.
