Snow To Flooding Back To Snow This Week: Ohio Forecast
Northern Ohio will dip into single-digit temperatures before rising into the 50s. With rain expected, flooding could become a problem.

CLEVELAND — Dust off your spring jacket, but don't stash the winter coat just yet. Northern Ohioans can expect snow, rain, more snow and a 40-degree temperature swing this week, according to current forecasts.
Temperatures will dip nearly into the single-digits on Monday night, the National Weather Service said. By Wednesday, northern Ohioans will be enjoying highs in the low 50s.
"Warmer temperatures will result in snow melt Wednesday into Thursday. This snow melt combined with locally heavy rain Thursday could lead to flooding of rivers and creeks across the area," the agency predicted.

Spring is not yet sprung, however. After another high in the 50s on Thursday afternoon, temperatures will plummet into the teens overnight, meaning a 30-degree temperature swing in one day is likely this week in Ohio.
Snowfall is also expected Thursday and Friday, the National Weather Service said. It's not yet clear how much snow will accumulate.

"Measurable snow moves into the area Thursday night into Friday. Specific amounts will come later in the week as models become consistent with the track of this strong area of low pressure," the agency added.
