Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:

  1. The Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department is on the search for Sammy Hunter, Jr., who is wanted for failing to register as an arson offender after his conviction of aggravated arson in 2009. Hunter put his 26-day-old baby into a diaper bag and then into an oven. The baby survived the incident in which Hunter tried to turn on the oven, but the oven never ignited and only released gas. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. The Ohio Senate rejected a law that would increase the minimum required prison time for people convicted of killing a firefighter or EMS worker while driving. The legislation was inspired by firefighter Johnny Tetrick who was killed in a hit-and-run accident a few weeks ago. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
  3. Get ready for the summer concert season! Live Nation is bringing back its Lawn Pass for 2023 for those frequent concert go-ers at Blossom Music Center. Lawn passes will go on sale on Dec. 15 at 10:00 a.m. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
