- Cleveland officials are warning people against fireworks and celebratory gunfire as we move into 2023. The city reminded people that guns fired into the air can still become deadly, and should never be used in celebration. Additionally, fireworks are illegal to possess and discharge without a permit in the city of Cleveland. These loud noises can also cause distress to animals in the area. (cleveland.com)
- A Cleveland man has been charged with murdering his 23-year-old girlfriend and burying her body in Pennsylvania. Anthony Kennedy, 43, was indicted in Cuyahoga County on Wednesday. Kennedy will face 13 felony counts. (WTVG)
- If you want to give your live-cut Christmas tree a second life, consider donating it! Green teams in and around Cleveland can pick up your tree at a designated drop-off site, and transport it to a park where the trees will be repurposed. They will be taken and transformed into habitats for Ohio park animals. They can also be used to provide shelter for fish and birds. (News 5 Cleveland WEWS)
