Wiz Khalifa, Logic Announce Northeast Ohio Concert

The pair will co-headline the 28-city "Vinyl Verse Tour 2022," which will stop at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls on August 30.

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH —Rappers Wiz Khalifa and Logic announced Monday that they will co-headline this summer's 28-city"Vinyl Verse Tour 2022," which will make a stop in Northeast Ohio.

At 7 p.m. on Aug. 30, the pair — and some additional special guests —will perform at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. A presale for tickets to the show begins on Tuesday, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday.

The tour, which is being produced by Live Nation, also will feature: 24kGoldn, DJ DRAMA, C Dot Castro, and Fedd the God.

Khalifa is a Multi-platinum selling, Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated recording artist who may be best known for his track "See You Again" from the album "Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack."

The song, a duet with singer Charlie Puth, topped the charts in 95 countries and broke records by being Spotify's most-streamed track in a single day in the U.S. and in a single week in 26 countries, according to a Live Nation release.

The song won 3 Teen Choice Awards in 2015, a Critics' Choice Award in the "Best Song" category, and two Billboard Music Awards in the categories "Top Hot 100 Song" and "Top Rap Song" respectively. It also garnered three Grammy Award nominations in the categories "Song of the Year," "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance," and "Best Song Written for Visual Media," and a Golden Globe nomination in the category "Best Original Song – Motion Picture."

Other Khalifa hits include: "Bake Sale" featuring Travis Scott, "Elevated," "Black and Yellow," "Roll Up," "No Sleep," "Work Hard, Play Hard" and "Remember You" featuring The Weeknd.

Logic, meanwhile, made headlines with his 2017 song "1-800-273-8255," which is named after the National Suicide Lifeline phone number.

The song was a hit, and it was associated — positively —with a rise in calls to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, according to a study published in the British Medical Journal.
