Cedar Lee Merchants Collecting Goods For Heights Emergency Food Center, Offering Incentives

The business district is encouraging people to get into the spirit of giving with promotions throughout the food drive

Merchants in the Cedar Lee Business District are collecting non-perishable food items today through Dec. 12 to benefit the . And several businesses are offering incentives to get people into the spirit of giving:

Dec. 5: will give a poinsettia to the first 30 people who donate four non-perishable food items

Dec. 6: will give the first 20 people who donate five non-perishable food items a jar of locally produced, BLAZE salsa

Dec. 7: will give customers who donate fiveΒ  non-perishable food items a 10 percent discount on their purchase

Dec. 9: will give the first three people to donate 10 non-perishables a 2012 edition the Cleveland Independents "The Deck"
