• Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights agree to share cost of Horseshoe Lake Dam removal despite resident concerns (cleveland.com) — Cleveland Heights has agreed to cover 35% of up to $7.1 million in park-related costs for removing the failing Horseshoe Lake Dam and restoring Doan Brook, with Shaker Heights paying the rest. Despite unanimous council approval and emergency passage to speed the project, some Cleveland Heights residents are questioning the rushed process, long-term maintenance costs, and impacts on the historic Shaker Lakes landscape.
   

• Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Ellet's Winning Streak (maxpreps.com) — Cleveland Heights High’s Tigers edged Ellet 53–48 on Wednesday, snapping the Orangemen’s six-game winning streak and extending Heights’ home win streak to five. Dayvon Evans led Cleveland Heights with a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double, while Paige Swoope added 16 points and five assists. Both teams have already moved on to additional games later in the week.
