Cleveland Heights' Federal Funding At Risk After Sequestration

The city received about $3.9 million in federal funding in 2012, including $2.5 million from the Community Development Block Grant, which helps fund senior programs, street, water and sewer maintenance, youth recreation centers, food banks, housing programs and more.

The city also received $721,000 from the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which it uses to rehab or demolish nuisance homes, among other things.

City Finance Director Tom Raguz said Thursday that it's too early to tell the exact impact the sequestration will have on the city, but he provided a complete list of the funding Cleveland Heights received in 2012:
