Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: 4 Men Have 'Dispute' Over Sandwich
Someone called police after seeing the commotion on Coventry Road

- On May 6, someone called in to report that four men were "creating a disturbance" on the 1700 block of Coventry Road. When police stopped by to investigate, two said they were just having a "dispute over a sandwich." There was no fight or arrest, and the parties were advised. Police had no further information about what, and what type of sandwich, sparked the disagreement.Β
- On May 6, a man called police to report that there were a bunch of men in a truck throwing eggs at his car. But then he took matters into his own hands. He followed the car to Maple and Wood roads, where the truck he was chasing hit a fire hydrant on the 1500 block of Maple. A boy was brought in for criminal mischief, and the driver was cited for hitting the hydrant and not stopping.Β
