Cleveland Heights Residents Watch Royal Wedding in Style
They wore dresses and tiaras and served tea and traditional English sandwiches to celebrate the fairytale ceremony
She hadnβt been born yet when Prince Charles married Princess DianaΒ almost 30 years ago.
But Kate Baker remembers her mom talking about that day, and wanted to do something special while watching Prince William and Kate Middletonβs wedding today.Β
She wore the tiara her mother received on her 50th birthday, and invited her friend Alys Hileman over to watch the ceremony. She served tea, her mom baked a cake and Hileman brought over traditional English sandwiches.Β

"I think that America and the U.K., we've gone through a lot of hardship just in these past couple months. Let us enjoy something and celebrate," Baker said. "Everybody loves a wedding."Β
