Council Approves Online System For Rec Programs

Cleveland Heights residents will soon be able to sign up and pay for recreation programs, classes and activities online

Residents who participate in Cleveland Heights will soon be able to sign up and pay for them online.

Cleveland Heights City Council members passed a resolution at to hire Active Network to create, install and operate an online registration and payment center specifically for city recreation classes and programs.

Cleveland Heights also hired a company to develop in June, and officials hope that the website and this service .

The city will pay Active Network, a technology company based in California that builds the software, $10,400 to create and install the system, and a service charge of $2.50 for each registration plus three percent of the cost of the activity, according to council documents.
