Heights High Vocal Music Groups Will Honor Bill Thomas
The vocal music and IT departments at the high school have a special presentation planned for the former music director who died in March

When Bill Thomas led the Heights Singers, the vocal groups would often sing Let It Be Me to conclude a show.
Vocal Music Department is honoring that tradition and also singing another Thomas favorite, Brothers and Sisters,Β at its spring concert Friday in memory of the .Β
In addition, the Women's Barbershop group and the IT department have planned a special presentation for Thomas' family to recognize his contributions to the music department. He founded the Heights Singers and worked for the school for 30 years.

At Thomas' funeral, former students formed a circle, and while holding hands, sang Let It Be Me. The video, as well as another tribute video, was posted on YouTube.Β
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and will feature performances by seven musical groups β Acappella Choir, Singers, Menβs Chorus, Womenβs Chorus, Honors Ensemble, The Heights Barbershoppers and The Heights Women Barbershoppers.
