Heights Superintendent Doug Heuer Is Finalist For Toledo Public Schools Job

Douglas Heuer, the superintendent of Cleveland Heights-University Heights schools, is one of three finalists who will interview to become interim superintendent of Toledo Public Schools, according to The Toledo Blade.

The Blade reported that Heuer and the other two finalists will be interviewed by the district's Board of Education some time this week.

The other finalists are Toledo Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Romules Durant and Oregon City Schools Superintendent Michael Zalar.

Heuer was hired as superintendent of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District in June 2009.
