Man caught red-handed with stolen steaks

April 24, 10:25 p.m. β€” A caller reported that a man was looking through cars on the 2100 block of Surrey Road. Officers went to the area and stopped Rodney Lamar Boyd, 44, who matched the caller’s description. Police ran his name and found that he had three arrest warrants with Cleveland Heights Police, and, upon searching him, found eight stolen raw steaks from Dave’s Market.

Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest

April 25, 10:25 p.m. β€” A driver was stopped by an officer at Nobleshire and Noble roads and found to be driving without a license. She was charged with no license, driving under suspension and obstruction of justice, and was also found to have an open felony arrest warrant with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department.

Men in bushes tell police plans of burglary

April 26, 1:24 p.m. β€” A caller reported two men in the bushes near 2027 Lee Road. Β When an officer arrived, he asked the men what they were doing, and they said that they were trying to break into the home of an acquaintance who was in East Cleveland Jail. Alfonzo Fitzgerald, Jr. and Willie Sutton were charged with attempted burglary.
