New Heights Arts Director Announced

Rachel Bernstein comes to Heights Arts from the Music Settlement

Heights Arts has hired a new director.

Rachel Bernstein, who will replace outgoing director Peggy Spaeth July 2, has experience as a performance artist, educator and administrator, Spaeth said.

β€œWhich is a nicely rounded experience for someone who will be working in a small grassroots organization,” she added.

Spaeth said that Bernstein, who has worked at the Cleveland Music Settlement for 15 years, plays the cello and teaches cello, displays a passion and vision for connecting arts to the community.

β€œThis isn’t just a job,” she added. β€œWe’re a nonprofit and we’re very mission-driven. This is the kind of place where you put your heart and soul into it."
