Open Doors Academy Celebrates 20 Years With Gala

Proceeds from Cupid's Frolic support the non-profit, out-of-school enrichment program

Open Doors Academy is celebrating 20 years with a to help support programs the out-of-school enrichment organization provides for middle school and high school youth.

The event, "Cupid's Frolic," will include a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, a silent auction and remarks from Miles Walker, who went to and is now an engineering student at Ohio State University, and his mother, Carla Bailey. The five-hour benefit begins at 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Tudor Arms Hotel, 10660 Carnegie Ave. Tickets are $125 per person.

Open Doors Academy will also present awards to for hosting the academy in its building, Elizabeth Patterson, ODA board member and Marty Young, who has volunteered with ODA for two decades.
